MusicPro & Audiofunk Emerging Artist Recording Competition

Presented in partnership with Glen Innes & Severn Council

Supporting the proposed

Glen Innes School of Arts & Music

Open to solo artists and bands who are willing to travel to Glen Innes Severn to be recorded.
All entrants must be at least 16 years of age, or have written consent from a parent/guardian.

Entries must feature an original song (no covers).
Maximum video length is 4 minutes.
Recording quality: iPhone or smartphone video is acceptable.
Upload your video to your own Google Drive or WeTransfer, set sharing to “anyone with the link can view,” and include that link in your entry form.
Only one entry per artist or band.
Entries must be submitted via the official online entry form and accompanied by a completed Glen Innes Music & Arts Community Survey.
All entries must be received by 11:59 pm, Sunday 24 November 2025.

A professional recording produced by MusicPro.
A professional online promotional release package provided by Audiofunk.
Where practicable, a portion of recording or filming may occur at a Glen Innes & Severn Council venue (venue use subject to availability).
Recording sessions will take place in or near Glen Innes, NSW. It is the winner’s responsibility to cover their own travel, accommodation, and related costs to attend the recording sessions.
The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any additional costs outside the stated scope are the winner’s responsibility unless agreed in writing.

Judging will be conducted by a panel including representatives from MusicPro, Audiofunk, and one community member (either a Council representative or local musician).
Decisions will be made by majority vote, with MusicPro holding final say as recording sponsor and producer.
Judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Entrants retain ownership of their original works.
By entering, entrants grant MusicPro and Audiofunk a non-exclusive right to use their submitted video and recorded material for promotion of the competition and associated projects (including social media, press releases, and showcase events).
The winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity activities related to the competition.

Personal information collected through the entry form will be used solely for the purposes of this competition and related communications.
Information will not be shared with third parties outside of MusicPro, Audiofunk, and Glen Innes & Severn Council for administrative purposes.

MusicPro reserves the right to cancel, amend, or postpone the competition if circumstances beyond its control arise.
