Original Music Competition

 

COMPETITION FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  1. Entry is open to all residents in Australia.  Employees of MusicPro, its related companies, associated agencies, and their immediate family are ineligible to enter.

  2. The promotion commences on September 10, 2015. Entries close last entry received 11.59pm (AEST). November 27th, 2015.

  3. To enter, entrants must complete the entry form online at MusicPro www.musicpro.com.au and submit one song. Completed entry forms must be submitted at www.musicpro.com.au.

  4. All entries must be original songs and copyright of the entrant/s (joint copyright is acceptable). Profanity or inappropriate material will not be accepted and deemed ineligible. All entries remain the property of the promoter. All copyright of musical works remains with the copyright owner/s and/or publisher. Entries must be submitted online at www.musicpro.com.au.

  5. The promoter is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries.

  6. Prizes will be awarded by a judging panel and the prize pool consists of a total of 4 winners. The judging will take place at the finals event on November 28 at The Wyong Grove Theatre (1 North Road, Wyong, NSW, 2259), commencing at 6pm (AEST). The entries judged most creative each win a recording session with producer Paul-i with the produced song published on a compilation EP, release and online distribution worldwide of the above mentioned compilation EP, mix and mastering of their song on the above mentioned compilation EP, the offer of an Artist Development recording contract with MusicPro, the offer of a song publishing and song promotion contract with Spaghetti Music Publishing, a radio-play plugging and promotions campaign for the compilation EP, representation of each winner’s song on the compilation EP to overseas industry representatives, industry and branding advice for each winner.  The runner up will receive industry and branding advice, and the offer of a publishing contract with Spaghetti Music Publishing.  The total prize value is worth AUD$20,000.00.

  7. Valid entries are those with all sections of the entry form complete and are judged to be the most creative. Entries with any incorrect answer or answers are invalid, and are ineligible to win any prize.  Illegible entries are invalid.  The judges' decision is final. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  8. Winners will be notified at the finals event in person and confirmed by phone and email. Winners will also be published on the MusicPro website at www.musicpro.com.au.

  9. In the event that there are any unclaimed prizes, subsequent entries will be judged on March 26th, 2016, at 6pm (AEST).

  10. To the extent permitted by law, MusicPro’s liability in relation to this promotion and/or any of the prizes is limited to the cost of replacement of any benefit or prize won.

  11. If you complete and submit this entry from your details will be used for the purposes of conducting the competition. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party unless compelled or permitted by law to do so. If we do disclose the information we will make every effort to ensure this information is kept secure.   12. MusicPro will take no responsibility for prizes damaged in transit.
