Music Lab
Your Music. Your Interests. Your Next Level.
What is Music Lab?
Music Lab is all about taking your musical knowledge, understanding and playing ability to the next level.
Whether you want to learn to improvise, play by ear, read music, compose for orchestra, write pop songs, explore music production and audio engineering, develop your instrumental skills, or simply discover something musical you've always been curious about, Music Lab is built around you, your interests and what you want to achieve musically.
Guided by a highly experienced professional musician, producer and educator, Music Lab gives you the opportunity to explore music in a creative, supportive and interactive environmen (more about the teacher).
There is no one-size-fits-all curriculum. Instead, we start with your interests, abilities and musical ambitions, and develop learning experiences that help you progress.
How Does Music Lab Work?
It starts with a FREE trial lesson!
Join a Music Lab trial and tell us what you'd love to learn, discover or achieve musically.
We'll explore your interests, find out where you're at musically and discover where you'd like to go.
From there, we bring together students with complementary interests and abilities to create engaging group Music Labs designed around their learning goals.
Your first Music Lab lesson is FREE, with no obligation to continue.
If you decide to continue following your trial, enrolment is for the remainder of the scheduled Music Lab program, rather than on a casual, lesson-by-lesson basis. Ongoing 45-minute sessions are A$38.50 per student. Once you choose to enrol, payment for the remaining scheduled sessions is required upfront to confirm and secure your place.
Music Labs may run during school terms and school holidays, depending on the program and individual group arrangements.
Why Learn in a Group?
Music is meant to be shared!
While each Music Lab is shaped around the interests and goals of its participants, the group experience brings something special to your learning.
You'll have opportunities to play together, exchange ideas, collaborate, experiment and learn from one another.
Whether you're a beginner discovering something new or an experienced musician looking to expand your skills, the interaction and creativity of a group can take your musical development in exciting new directions.
