Meet your teacher: Paul Iannuzzelli

Learn directly with Paul Iannuzzelli: a conservatorium-trained music educator and a working producer, engineer and songwriter. He brings the care of a teacher and the practical ear of a musician who has worked in studios, on stages and behind the scenes internationally.

In Paul’s live small-group lessons, you are seen and heard. You can ask questions, receive individual feedback and develop real musicianship alongside your singing, piano, guitar or ukulele skills. Complete beginners, children and adults are welcome.

Education and course design: Paul holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music in Curriculum Design from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music / University of Sydney. He has lectured, designed university-level music and creative-arts courses, delivered VET programs and online/blended professional learning, and worked with institutions including Alphacrucis College, Excelsia College and Teacher Training Australia. He has also co-founded creative-arts colleges and helped establish music-education programs in Australia and overseas, including work connected with London, Italy and Finland.

Industry experience: Paul’s professional work spans record production, recording engineering, songwriting, music direction and performance. His collaborations have included David Moyse (Air Supply), Tommy Emmanuel, Rob Davis (Kylie Minogue) and Chester Thompson (Phil Collins), along with recent Nashville projects involving musicians whose credits include Taylor Swift — Nick Buda, Tim Marks, Smith Curry and Jason Roller. His songwriting has been published internationally, and he has managed major recording facilities including The Grove Studios.

That combination matters in a lesson. Students learn more than notes and chords: they learn to listen, create, perform, understand music and make confident musical choices. Paul brings professional standards into a patient, beginner-friendly teaching environment, with individual feedback inside every small group.

Now semi-retired, Paul is choosing to spend more time with his horses while undertaking doctoral study exploring music and horses. Teaching a limited number of small groups gives him the time to work personally with each student and share decades of education, creative and industry experience.
