DIPLOMA OF MUSIC INDUSTRY (PRICE ON APPLICATION)
This innovative program provides a good grounding for the many facets of music in practice and industry today.
Delivered as a flexible online course over one year (Full Time) or two years (Part-Time), this nationally recognised qualification is suitable for those who have had some previous formal vocal or instrumental training and/or experience. The Diploma of Music Industry extends existing skills and has a greater emphasis on providing leadership to the student's chosen field of musical expression.
Participants of CUA50815 Diploma of Music Industry will further build upon invaluable theory and skills in; performance, improvisation, songwriting, chart reading, arranging, recording and music directing.
There are four compulsory Units, and the remaining twelve electives can be chosen from any of the other 27 accredited Units you see on the Online Courses page here on this site. All Units include accreditation (except those by Paul Iannuzzelli Design which require you to apply for accreditation with a further fee).
During this course, students can also hone in on their passion, whether it be writing music for film or teaching music or advanced audio engineering.
For students wishing to study further, such as a Bachelor of Music (or Theology), Units from this course can fast-track your studies as RPL (Recognised Prior Learning) subjects.

The Diploma costs AU$620 per Unit for Domestic Students, and AU$720 per Unit for International Students. Government Fee HELP is availalbe (upon application and approval) if you wish to study the course without any upfront costs. There is a 20% administration fee to access Government Fee HELP. It is included in the HELP scheme and does not require upfront payment.
Alphacrucis College charges application fees for some Units (information available upon registration).

Further instructions during the registration process will allow you to apply for Government Fee HELP.
Students are required to provide evidence of musical ability and English Literacy. This may include relevant qualifications (such as 6th Grade AMEB Performance and 5th Grade Theory), or video evidence of your musical performance skills (smart phone video is ample).
International Students are required to provide evidence of English Literacy.
Students must be over the age 16 or over to enrol.

The Diploma of Music Industry may be joined at the start of any term. Enrolment and Registration can take up to 4 weeks, so be sure to enrol a month before Term starts.
